PERSONALITY
Turtlestream is a fiery young she-cat. She is incredibly proud, and is known for not backing down from much of anything. There are many cats that have reason to know the sharpness of her tongue. She might be small in stature, but there is nothing else small about her. The she-cat has a hypnotic charisma about her, and can leave other cats spell bound to her voice.
Along with being well spoken, Turtlestream is incredibly intelligent. However, her determination and temper can sometimes get in the way of her sharp mind. Despite her intelligence, Turtlestream has always been more prone to following her hear rather than her head, and that has lead to both and good and bad results. Turtlestream prefers to lead rather than follow, very often taking charge of patrols and hunting parties. She is a competent leader, capable of adapting and making quick decisions.
With all of this said, there is more to the she-cat than sharp words and stubbornness. Turtlestream's devotion to the Warrior Code is almost zealous, and she has the same attitude in respect to her Clan. She is a fiercely loyal friend, and, when she relaxes a bit, is humorous and compassionate. She believes that her honor is her most prized possession, and becomes very offended when it is questioned.
In a neutral state, Turtlestream is determined, intelligent, and well spoken. When riled, she is incredibly passionate, with fiery words and often needs someone to help her tone it down. At worst, she is overconfident and over zealous. At her best, she is compassionate, quick thinking, and captivating.
One thing to note about Turtlestream is that she was never particularly interested in having a mate or kits. She had always devoted herself to the life of a Warrior, and has defined her entire life thus far.

APPEARANCE
Turtlestream is a bit on the smaller side, being lithe and lean. Her coat is sleek and shiny, silky in texture. The she-cat could be considered pretty, but beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Being a dilute tortoiseshell, her coat is comprised of creams, pale gingers, browns, and white. In fact, the colored markings on top of the white reminded her mother of a turtle's shell, giving her her name as a kit. Despite being a bit smaller than average, she is well muscled and fit- clearly not having lived any kind of soft life.
Turtlestream takes a great deal of pride in her appearance- keeping herself well groomed. As such, her fur is normally shiny and soft. It is rare to see the she-cat be disheveled. She tends to carry herself gracefully- but not in a docile manner. She is more aggressive in her strides. Think of comparing a gazelle as opposed to a cheetah or leopard. All three are graceful, beautiful creatures. But the two latter are more predatory and forceful. That is how she tends to move- with all the grace and power of an apex predator.
Turtlestream's eyes are dark green, constrasting against her largely pale coat. Most of her coat is pretty uniform, despite being dappled and slightly mottled. However, up close, those are her most distinctive feature. From a distance, she can easily be identified for her dappled, mottled pelt and smaller frame. Her slightly more aggressive manner of movement can also be a means to identify her at a distance.

HISTORY
Turtlestream had a relatively happy kithood. She was the only kit born to her mother- a lovely ginger queen who doted over her kits as any mother would. Her early days were filled with playing in the nursery and admiring the warriors as they plodded into camp with fresh-kill and tales of battle and accomplishment. Turtlestream, then Turtlekit, loved listening to the elders and warriors talk. What more could she ask for from life than what they had spoken of?
By the time she was an apprentice, there was an apparent... difference. She was progressing just as quickly as her fellow apprentices, however something was off. No one could figure out what. She was just as wide eyed, curious, and just as pursuing of all kinds of pursuits as many of the other cats... It was at this time that Turtlestream found something out for herself. She... wasn't interested in toms. It was a beautiful tabby she-cat that had stirred this in her, captured her heart and set it aflutter. But, alas, it wasn't meant to be. Still, at this point the apprentice longed for romance, and a family of her own, though she never voiced it.
It wasn't until the she-cat never experienced her first heat that it was figured out what wrong- she was infertile. Somewhere, deep down, Turtlestream was extremely disappointed. Though she had never spoken of it, part of her longed for kits. Not wanting to display any moment of weakness, she kept trudging forward. If she couldn't have kits of her own, she would simply have to make sure her named lived on through story- forever.
It wasn't too long before her Warriors ceremony that Turtlestream's mother fell ill. The ginger queen called her kit to her side, she and the Medicine Cat knowing that her time was close. It was then that her mother revealed something.
Turtlestream had never really wondered about her father. It wasn't uncommon for queens to not reveal the name of the father of their kits. It wasn't all that uncommon for kits to never really interact with their father.
It was with her dying breath that Turtlestream's mother revealed that her father had not been of the Clan, and begged for her daughter's forgiveness. Despite being shocked, and horrified, Turtlestream granted her mother forgiveness. After all, what else could she do when the ginger she-cat had been at StarClan's door?
Turtlestream buried her mother, and never spoke a word of what she had been told. Some secrets are better left just that- a secret.
