Sootstripe
Amberstar's sleek gray pelt whisked past a sharp rock, barely touching one hair of her fur as she went by. The she-cat had just had her leader ceremony and had to admit she was a bit nervous of all the responsibility. Despite how calm and strict she is around her clan, she still had a side that hated being under pressure.
Pale green eyes looking around fiercely she spotted her medicine cat, Sootstripe. Dipping her head, she forgot that she had brought the medicine cat along on her journey to her ceremony. Calmly and strictly she addressed Sootstripe with a emotionless tone,
"Sootstripe, I did not notice you there."
Thinking of how idiotic she must have sounded she dipped her chestnut brown head and whipped around to head back to camp. Seeing in the corner of her green eyes that Sootstipe was still following she sighed and directed her attention to her thoughts.
I can't believe what a fool I am! Forgetting that I brought Sootstripe like that, a clan leader should always remember her clan mates! She had lost her clam nature in her head and yelled at herself as if she was a little kid, the truth was sometimes she could beat herself up with her own thoughts.
I must seem like the most irresponsible leader in the whole forest! Oh and how will I manage to handle the gatherings? What if I act stupid in front of all the clan leaders?
Ugh what am I thinking! Just relax and don't freak out, keep your cool!
Dropping her head lower she let out a sigh of annoyance and anger, with a hint of sadness. Being the new clan leader wasn't going to be all fun and games, this was going to be one of the hardest tasks she had ever faced.
