What classifies something super? Is it the ability to do something that no one else can? Or is it something that everyone else fears?
The year is 2016, and the world has adapted to its new state of affairs. In many places, magic has continued to grow and quietly become more affluent, many figureheads and power mongers seeking education in twisted arts from witches and warlocks; men and women they would have put to the torch in times gone by. Magic is secretly traded and sold in the streets; enchanted items sold like narcotics in back alleys. The world has largely managed to settle back into some form of peace, though there are anti-magic and anti-supernatural groups quickly gaining popularity by those fearful of change. In Hollowhill Grove, which has been expanded into a larger, sprawling, and very dark place, supernaturals try to go about their daily lives. With time and the growing popularity of magic, the restrictions on human entry have been relaxed, mostly due to an inability to enforce them. Some supernaturals choose to live as close to a normal life as they can. Others, however, give in to their monstrous tendencies and hunt humans and supernaturals alike, making the shadows and alleys that fill this place that much darker.
Corrupted Existence is a dark fantasy RP site that has mystery themed roots with a modern day setting, allowing everyone to jump right into the world. An open plot is in order currently letting you, the RP'er, to settle how the world will progress and how events unfold.
With a handful of races to choose from with more coming soon, there is a spot here for everyone and anyone.
- Vampire: A stalker of the night and master of shadows.
- Lycan: A mixed race, some hating themselves, unable to control their emotion and change.
- Shades: Groups of Supernaturals that are neither human nor dead, stuck between heaven and hell, holding onto humanity by a thread.
- Humans: The only magically inclined race on the planet. You may choose one of three branches of magic to adhere to. Sigil magic, Blood magic and Spellweaving. In addition, you can create a normal human, no supernatural powers or abilities at all......yet.
Some other notable aspects of the site are as follows:
- Character Store: You will be able to purchase additional skills, unique weapons and magical artifacts and spells.
- Updates: As time progresses, we will always be adding items to the store, or races that members would like to see playable.
- Literacy: We like to pride ourselves on RP skill and the ability to bring you literate RP while still abstaining from having a site wide word count, they aren't fun anyway.
- No Nazi's: We have zero nazis! If you have an idea that is....well a little 'out there', then we will try to work WITH you, rather then deny your imagination.
- We have cake and cookies with juice boxes in a variety of flavors.
