PERSONALITY
Although this she-cat does reside and lead DarkClan, her personality is far from the regular DarkClan member. Thornstar is a very straight forward type of cat. She doesn’t sugarcoat anything and she never had anything sugarcoated for her. The she-cat is very blunt and doesn’t really have feelings or emotions per say. She is essentially numb to any feelings as everyone one she cared for except her brother has died, all within a small amount of time from each other.
Silence is her code, she rarely breaks it. Her deputy is usually the one to convey messages to individual cats. Speaking in front of the clan as a whole she has no problems. She has a fondness for her clanmates, although she doesn’t always show it through emotion, she does through action. Humble is another way to describe this she-cat. She doesn’t talk to many individual cats and isn’t interested in small talk. Thornstar pushes herself; this then causes her to push those around her, though she does this with the best intentions.
The she-cat is indeed very hard to read when she is first met; this doesn’t get any easier as you get to know her. Tolerance is something she has possessed; she has never lashed out at anyone for the very reason that she has been able to tolerate them. Thornstar is understanding, but is not stupid, she tries her best to see a situation from everyone’s point of view, but punishment will not be far behind. In a nutshell she is, not to blow her own horn but, a perfect leader, more or less.

APPEARANCE
This she-cat is extremely petite and she has no problem with it. If anything her size benefits her, she can get into small spaces and get lower to the ground. All of her features are on the rounder size, not chubby or pudgy, but actually around. Her eyes, which are pale yellow in color, are very round and are lined with black. Her ears and face themselves also take after the roundness of her features. The small cat takes the color of a gray tabby.
Everywhere on this she-cat is light gray except for a small spot on her stomach, which is white, and on her nose which is more of creamy gray, instead of a harder gray. The white spot seems a bit out of place, but it is put away so no one from far away can see it. Her tail is really the only thing that is out of place, it is the only long thing on her body, other than her whiskers, compared to her body type of course. At the very tip it is completely black.
As for scars she has many, from her many years of being an apprentice, warrior, deputy, and leader. A major scar is across her left hip. It is highly visible, for all to see. A small amount of fur around the scar is tough and it is more of an eyesore than anything. Another scar that Thornstar has is on the back of right ear, although it is more hidden and she sometimes forgets she has it.

HISTORY
Everything started out as normal clan kit’s life would. A happy pair of warriors were blessed by StarClan with three beautiful little kits. Thornkit, Silverkit, and Graykit. All three siblings were extremely close, they were model offspring. They were great, never questioning their parent’s authority or anyone else’s for that matter.
As apprentices they were beautifully mannered cats. They took to it like they had been doing it all their life; they were basically the star apprentices of DarkClan. The trio took their training very seriously; Thornpaw and Graypaw were paired with senior warriors; Ravenclaw and Ebonyfoot, while Silverpaw was paired with an experienced warrior; Lilacfur. Thornpaw and Graypaw were their mentor’s last apprentices, though most would think that the senior warriors would have flew through the apprentices’ training and done it poorly, but it was done the exact opposite. Their mentors trained two sisters the hardest they’ve ever trained any of their apprentices.
The day before their trio’s ceremony Thornpaw’s mentor, Ravenclaw died from eating one of the banned prey animals, which wasn’t banned at that point. Thornpaw took Ravenclaw’s prefix so that she would always be able to remember him. Thornclaw, Silverfang, and Graypelt got their names happily. Becoming warriors was the best thing that happened to the trio of siblings, for now.
They had the freedom to do what they pleased, come and go whenever they wanted, although it didn’t really change things, other than they could leave camp without being accompanied by a warrior. All three of the siblings stuck to their duties for the clan. One day after a hunting patrol, which included the three, they got back to camp and heard a soul-wrenching yowl. Thornclaw and Silverfang rushed to the warrior’s den to see Graypelt foaming at the mouth. Silverfang ran to get the medicine cat, but they were too late.
Days after that Thornclaw was quiet she didn’t speak to many, not even her brother at some points. Dealing with the fact that her sister was now gone, was extremely hard to wrap her head around. About a moon and a half after that both her parents passed away from old age, days from each other. After that Thornclaw closed up but didn’t rest when it came to her duties, if anything she made more of an effort in doing those duties.
When it came time to select a new deputy, Thornclaw was the obvious choice, she was essentially the medicine cat, when it came to the terms, as of being whole-heartedly devoted to the clan and taking no taking. The she-cat had no need to take and no want to do so. After about eighteen moons her duty to be the next leader came to call.
